Site Info / Terms and Conditions of Booking

We reserve the right to refuse any booking, (including those booked on-line and paid for in advance)

You must be over 18 years old to make a booking and to stay on site without a parent or Guardian (Duke of Edinburgh or similar by arrangement)

The tariff charge for 6 to 18 year olds can only be applied for those who are being accompanied by a Parent or Guardian

We cater for couples and families and reserve the right not to accept bookings from groups with more than three units.

To secure bookings a deposit/payment of either one night or two night fee dependent on arrival date of booking is required.

Payment/deposit taken to secure bookings, or payment in advance acts as confirmation of your booking, and our agreement is a legal contract.  By making a booking you warrant that you have authority of all persons in your party to book on their behalf & you accept these terms & conditions.

Relevant deposit/payment fees secures bookings, covers bank costs & also handling fees and therefore non refundable

Additional charges per tariff must be paid for on arrival.  The number of people occupying each pitch must not exceed the number stated in the booking request or registration form unless arranged.

If you have paid in full at the time of booking but need to cancel we require written or email notice 7 days prior to the start of your stay. A full refund will be given less the handling fee of £20.00. Two nights fee will be retained for cancellations less than 7 days before your arrival day.  We strongly recommend that guests take out appropriate insurance.

Transfers may be possible depending on availability for the requested new dates but we do require seven days notice in writing & the new dates to be given at the time of the request.  Due to past transfers of bookings proven to be ‘no shows’, any outstanding balances must be paid in full at the time of the requested transfer dates.  Please note that we are only able to offer a ‘one off ’ transfer

Any guest who is unable to make a full payment will not be allowed to their pitch.  Monies will not be refunded in the event that some members of your party fail to arrive.

We cannot put caravans and tents together due to the Peak Park Planning restrictions.   Caravans and tents have separate fields due to hard standing and grass pitches. Small camper vans 5 meters or less are allowed on grass pitches by arrangement.

If you have a large unit, you must tell us at time of booking.  If you fail to do so we cannot guarantee that your pitch will be of adequate size.

We are a rural family site and LOUD NOISE OR MUSIC IS STRICTLY PROHITED.  We operate a no noise policy after 10pm to ensure peace & tranquillity to all our guests. Anyone breaching this rule and causing a nuisance to other guests will be asked to leave the site without refund.  You should take responsibility for your own safe transport home

If you decide to leave your stay prior to your departure dates, no monies will be refunded

We will try to ensure that all services and facilities connected with the site are available to you during your stay.  If services and facilities are not available due to circumstances beyond our control no liability will attach to us and you will not be entitled to a refund.

The Site & its facilities are used entirely at the guests own risk.  Personal belongings are your responsibility & we will not be liable for any personal belongings lost/damaged during your stay

Arrival times for Caravans & tents is from 1pm & departure times is 12 noon

If you have not checked in before 7pm on your arrival date, and unless we have heard from you prior to 7pm, we will assume that you have chosen not to carry out your holiday with us and we reserve the right to cancel your booking & sell your pitch to another guest.  Such bookings are non refundable under any circumstances.  Tents must not pitch before checking in at reception.

The Site will endeavour to meet your special requests, but regret that they cannot be guaranteed.  Please call the site to make a request.

While the Site is happy to provide a play area for children, the site is not a child care facility.  Please note that at all times the safety of children is the responsibility of their parents or guardians.  In the event of unruly children causing damage or disturbance the family will be asked to leave without refund.

In the Sites opinion any person who is not suitable to continue the holiday because of unreasonable behaviour or annoyance to other holidaymakers, the site reserves the right to exclude the holiday party from the site.  In this event no refund will be given & will be liable for any damage caused to property.
